right when your jk2 starts running and b4 entering the server, just type the command line
set com_hunkmegs 256

or you can do it inside any other server and then go to home server and voila

I did try that but 256 would never stick, even after hosting a JA mod server on my computer and changing my details in there. It says settings wont take affect until next restart, if i restart jk2 it goes back to the setting of 64.. I initially tried setting them to 256 when I was in ThC but hasn't helped...

you dont need to restart jk2

you can try adding that setting within the jk2mpconfig file

Got it sussed. The academy mod was writing 64 on its own accord when entering a academy mod server. I had to set the jk2mpconfig file to read only for both the base and academy versions, after setting hunkz to 256 of course.

Entered the game no problem. Got errors when trying to bind keys in thc home saying cannot write to config file, so just minimised and made the files writable again.

Worked like a charm.

Thanks for your help bro!

Boddo made this map. It's actually a jk3 map but he made that unreleased jk2 version.

The jk3 version has tons of vehicles in it.

Boddo made Grandflaw also if you have played that.

This map was a step up though. He had about 500 custom made models made in 3dmax that he personally made for this map. It's kind of insane that one person could put that much work into a map.
